I did have a moan some days ago about the recently installed fibre to my village. The estimated download was 7 - 11 mb/s.
However, after contacting "Superfast Staffordshire" about this they informed me that my service was to be connected to a different cabinet. My original cabinet was about a mile away but we are now connected to the cabinet 200 yards away.
This means that I can get 78mb/s down if required. I've opted for 38 down, 2 up.
Change over was seamless and Hub 1 set up easy. I noticed that my download was stuck at my old ADSL speed but upload was 1.81. A quick call to PN sorted this out by a line/profile reset at their end. The call was answered in less than 5 minutes in spite of a 15 minute wait warning.
Now at 37.1 down and 1.91 up. Very pleased with the way it has all been handled by both BTOR and PN.
