I have recently joined plusnet.I am maybe just at the present limit for receiving fttc by being exactly 2 miles from the nearest cabinet. I was able to get 8.4 Mb after the settling in period. However after that time I changed to a hauwei 612 3B modem and used the plusnet one as a router. I have since then getting 12.7 to 12.8Mb.
I changed back today to the hub one and speed was back to 8.4Mb so l didn't let it stay stay long.
All of my data is available if anyone is really interested as it is stored on my samknows box.
