FTTC install today

appointment booked for this morning, router turned up a couple of days ago - all arranged in one phone call
engineer phoned about 10ish saying he was at the box and about to start work
1/2 hours later he was in the house changing master socket etc
he pushed (pre-booked) extension cabling through conduit I had all ready in place
Installed modem etc in cupboard right in center of house exactly where I wanted it
all working within an hour and household very happy Smiley
just one last thing, if someone at plus.net could check the profile is actually set at 80/20
as BT speedtester seems to suggest it could be 40/10 - but I am not sure son isn't hogging it already

Try rebooting the BT modem and then use the BT Wholesale Broadband Performance TestWink
