Excellent Service from PlusNet - As Usual

We lost our BT land-line just over a week ago due to a fault further up the village.  When the fault was corrected yesterday, our modem connected at it's best ever speed (>6Mbps), but the download speed was only 128kbps.
I rang PlusNet's help-line and the CSA initially said that it needed a three day training period for the speed to recover. Once I explained that I neded the connection at a decent speed to be able to provide remote support for my employer, he asked if it was OK to put me on hold for a couple of minutes.  When he returned, he said he'd arranged an SNR reset and to give it four hours and the speed to improve.
After an hour, the modem disconnected, then reconnected and a few minutes later the download speed was back to it's previous 3Mbps.  It's done so again this morning and the connection is now at about 7Mbps with a download speed of over 5Mbps.
More than happy with that Cheesy
