Did you know you can now call us free from landlines on 0800 432 0200?

Yes - I just rang that number!
Am I the only person that gets annoyed by such stupidity?

Correct. Surely they should customise the message according to which number the user dialled.

Not at all! I also found it a little silly, but not as much as the constant voice-over every 20 seconds telling me I can go to the website to look up answers.
Every time the announcement comes I think somebody has finally answered and it interrupts me from working, but of course, it's just the recorded message...
