Broadband that does NOT love you back...

...well, not if you live in parts of East Yorkshire, it seems.

I'm in Hornsea, East Yorkshire, with. 01964 telephone number (NOT in Kcom's area), yet it seems your broadband is not available in my area. Any particular reason for you not providing service here?

It seems more than a little ironic that the ISP that seems to make so much of its Yorkshire base chooses to exclude a large chunk of Yorkshire from its services!

Well, the suggestion seems to be to phone in to see if anything can be done. Don't think I'll bother - not least because this  http://forums.thinkbroadband.com/general/t/4372399-plusnet-post-code-problem.html (from 18 months ago) indicates that it wouldn't get me anywhere. Strangely, the member of staff who posted there seemed to say it was being dealt with. Apparently 18 months hasn't been long enough to find a solution.

Maybe Plusnet have designated my bit of Yorshire as an official off-grid spoon-whittling area?
