I've no gripes against Plusnet myself but surely the point is in order to take out a "class action suit" you need to state a (legal) reason.  No reason, case dismissed!

I presume this was a rhetorical question.

I presume this was a rhetorical question.

Then it has badly misfired because lots of people, yourself included Strat, have answered it.

Don't think we will hear from the OP again
Five posts and he only registered on the 21st

Regardless of whether someone is happy with PN or not - this sums up the situation totally!

Perhaps he's an "Ambulance follower" type of Legal Eagle trawling trolling for business  Grin

And the rest of us didn't get a chance to say 'Welcome to the Forums' Grin

What drivel.  5 information-free negative posts within a quarter of an hour of registering.  Maybe he works for Talk-Talk ?
PS : Class action suit is a very american term for a legal process almost unknown in this country.  Maybe he is a AT&T customer in the wrong forum?

Re: Anyone interested in a class action suit against Plusnet?

He/she just sounds like a customer who has either had a couple of bad experiences over the phone trying to get support, hasn't got their own way over something or hasn't worked out the purpose of this forum is to get help (and help each others) rather than leap in spamming other members posts with negativity.
Of course they could be from "the opposition" but to be able to post on here you need to sign up with PN anyway so unlikely they would go to that length of effort.
Certainly posting drivel like this without any background information or attempt to let the DCT try and sort out their problem isn't going to endear them to the other members.

Also, in the UK any court will now strike out any legal actions in a regulated industry (eg telecoms, finance, energy) unless the firm's internal and the industry's independent complaints procedures have been followed though and no resolution has been reached at the end of this process.

Hence the OP would need a DEADLOCK letter
