£42.79 to change my package?

Are you for real?  I'm on a premium package (PlusNet Broadband Premier Option 1) and thinking of moving to Plusnet Pro because of the abysmal speeds I am getting due to your traffic management., but you want £42.79 for the privilege, with no explanation of what these charges are for.
Is this for real?

Re: £42.79 to change my package?

Hmm, it looks like I'm in a similar situation.
Just looked into upgrading from PlusNet Broadband Premier Option 1 (Annual Contract, No Modem) to Plusnet Pro because net access after work is so crappy , and they want to charge me £22.95! Shocked
Can't understand what the charge is for, I mean, I don't need any more hardware and I've been a plusnet customer for a number of years now.
any chance of an explanation? Net access is abysmal atm, so I need to get something sorted out, without being stung unjustly.
Cheers.

Re: £42.79 to change my package?

Hi James,
I would like to change my package to the Pro one as I am just getting back into my online gaming after taking a break.
What do I need to do?
Cheers,
Lee.

I can do this for you.
The change will happen on your next billing date (once I've scheduled it).  Is that okay?

Thanks - That's all been sorted now.
I've rasied a ticket on your account confirming the change, which will happen on the 5th.
