The Chancellor delivered the last Budget before the General Election yesterday and plenty of people tuned in to watch. And of course that means that people watched online as well as on television. We saw approximately double the amount of iPlayer traffic during the Budget than a normal weekday afternoon. iplayer Budget When looking at where that traffic came from the vast majority was on our business accounts - people that probably don't have access to a television in their office. business streaming With the General Election now only weeks away it's going to be interesting how the Internet will come in to play. We're expecting an increase in usage in the run-up and certainly more traffic on night of the election and the following day as people check online to see what's happening and watch the various different news streams.
