transferring wi-fi code to a mobile phone - problems!

Hello,

can anyone suggest anything please. I've just bought a mobile phone and have been trying to

get the code from the wifi box keyed into the phone so that I can access the internet.

The box is a plusnet box, but regardless of me putting the code in the phone says it is not accepting it.

My wi-fi is working……otherwise i wouldn't be able to get online!

The phone just isn't accepting the code. Any suggestions please?!

Many thanks, K

Which phone? And are you entering the key exactly as on the card/sticker - i.e upper and/or lower case characters?

You are trying to enter it against the correct network?

Re: transferring wi-fi code to a mobile phone - problems!

Hi, thanks for getting back to me!

My phone is a Samsung A12 and it is asking me for the password so that i can use wifi.

I checked all the codes on the back of the router and have tried them all.

My phone has come up saying Plusnet, but when i try and type in what i think is

the correct code it says "couldn't connect to network"

There are

O's that have diagonal lines through them? I thought that because i had tried more than 3 times

it has locked me out. Its taken quite awhile as i am not computer literate and dyslexic.

Feeling very stupid and frustrated!

@kfrweaving

Os with a line through them are not letter O they are number zero (0)
