still no ethernet working!!!

asked foir suroprt for a long time now can any 1 tell me why etherport on the routor not working could it be a possibleity  the routor is on its last legs !! can connect wifi way but not direct???

Have you tried different ports?

is the ethernet working on your device?

Have you tried a different ethernet cable?

Post what device you're using.

hi thx for reply the only way i can recive internet is though a  wifi dongle or wifi on a diffant device  i ive tryed a diffant computer 

still the same this has been an issue since i renewed my contract in march yes ive tryed loads of leads i still think they something wrong with  the routor it is 2 years old now it would not surpise me the main broundband connection is not working !!
