replacing sagemcom router

Hi,

Im thinking replacing my Plusnet router with either a Netgear AC2600 Nighthawk® X4S VDSL/ADSL Modem Router on it's own or a Netgear Broadband High-Speed DSL Modem DM200 & Netgear NIGHTHAWK PRO GAMING XR700.

Anyone have any better ideas.

Thanks

Re: replacing sagemcom router

The USP (Unique Selling Point) for all these expensive routers is their claimed wireless abilities.

The Hub 1 router is very inflexible, but you might find that if all you need is better router features that something off of eBay is sufficient (and hugely cheaper).

Any suggestions for a router you would go for?

@scousepcgamer

What features do you require?

If you're a serious gamer then by far the best solution is to connect your device to the hub via an Ethernet cable, in which case a Plusnet hub will do all that you want.
