problem using apple

Hi there,

for some reason my imac doesn´t work at home with plusnet. We have been in apple store changed the hard drive as per their advice, and now 200 pounds later, we still cannot use the computer at home because of the wifi supplier. Computer works perfectly in other places with differente companies, but it doesn´t at home. So I will need to change the company, anybodyelse has experienced this before? will plusnet still charge me the cancellation fee?

Which router?

Try turning ipv6 off on the Mac.

If it's a plusnet hub one and you use wireless try splitting the 2.4 and 5 ghz networks

Glad it helped, it's a network protocol that for some reason causes issues with certain macs and some routers.

Won't cause you any issues switched off.
