noisy router

Hello,

Just got my router and its REALLY loud. It seems to make more noise the more data its dealing with, for example if I do a speed test the noise goes nuts.

If I dont do anything its relatively quiet but then makes to odd random noise now and then (you can hear it over people talking).

It kinda sounds like an old harddrive clicking away.

Any ideas what can be done?

@adrian5  It's a well known feature of the router, the easiest solution is to get a better one, such as the BT Home Hub 6, which will work with Plusnet. ISP supplied routers are generally cheap and nasty so I never use them but the HH6 is not bad.🙂
