lantiq v broadcom chipset modem/routers

im connected to a eci cabinet when i use a lantiq chipset router such as the bt home hub 5a my sync rate is much higher than say a broadcom chipset such as home hub 5b or the home hub 6a which im currently using as its wifi signal is much better but sacrifice 5 megs of speed which isnt alot but why is there such a difference in sync speeds because of the chipsets ?

are there any decent lantiq modem routers out that people could suggest thanks

in my opinion Fritzbox devices look awful but seem to come out well in reviews. Having said that everyone has their favourites so you may get as many different recomendations as replies. My advice is to do your own reviews of the alternatives.

Ok mate thanks definitely needs to be a lantiq chipset but have good wifi so will look about I was hoping someone had suggestions
