hub 2 only offers narrow range of WiFi channels

Just set up my hub 2 router but on the channel selector it only has a small range of channels available. I get a lot of interference from neigbours. All the channels have 4 or more access points on them. My last router's 5GHz channel was set to 100 but this does not seem to be an option?

Re: hub 2 only offers narrow range of WiFi channels

Fix
Hi,
To operate on channels higher than channel 48 the router is required by OFCOM to support DFS.
Detailed background in the whitepaper which can be found from:
https://wifinigel.blogspot.com/p/5ghz-in-uk.html?m=1

Most domestic grade routers do not appear to implement DFS.

OK, thanks for the answer.

The Plusnet Hub 2 router modem is a bit of a disappointment: few wifi channels means it will struggle in urban environments and [firmware that restricts the full potential of the hardware](https://community.plus.net/t5/Fibre-Broadband/Plusnet-hub-2-router-How-to-use-WAN-port-as-LAN-port-4...).
