Re: firmware not updated

Welcome to the community forums @ar

Based off a post from Bob Here, I'm not sure this is a problem or that the firmware is 'stuck' as such.

Re: firmware not updated

Not recently . Wanted the latest update as I thought it is stuck as it did not update automatically ( given previous responses).

Re: firmware not updated

Hi @ar, thanks for your response.

As you're using the latest (released) firmware I'd say that your best bet is going to be to wait until the next release automatically updates to the router, especially with you not experiencing any issues.

There is, however, a thread here that you're able to post in and request and update, should you wish.

Re: firmware not updated

@ar, are the last few digits of your router's serial number '853'? If so, it's not correctly registered on our hardware management platform which will stop updates getting to you. I've re-registered the device at our side, so a factory reset should sort this out.

Re: firmware not updated

We can see a entry where the last 4 digits are 3574? Is the above a typo? If not can you PM me the full serial number

Re: firmware not updated

@ar, if it is '3574' then can you please factory reset your router by inserting something into the pinhole at the rear until the status light flashes green. Once this is done, it should allow me to communicate with the device.

Re: firmware not updated

@ar, you need to factory reset the device again to force a re-activation. The last time you did it, we hadn't made the necessary amendments at our side.

All sorted. Your device will be going for a reboot to apply the update.
