Hi
i'm going to replace my old asus rt66. and move over to a Unifi security gateway, does anybody have any advice on setting up a new USG - eg what are the settings i will need to enter. im using the std openreach modem with it
im on a fixed IP with plusnet, and will need it to serve up DNS services, DHCP server and firewall for my home network , will also need to set up so i can VPN into my homenet
any advice gratefully received

I found it pretty easy to set up, the hardest part was getting my Draytek Vigor to just be a modem. The key settings are in the WAN settings where you need to set the Connection type to PPPoE and set the credentials. DNS, DHCP, firewalls and even VPN are all pretty straight-forward to set up.
