is this a known issue with windows 10 users? I was previously using windows 7 until a couple of weeks ago and I could log into my router page ok using explorer, but since I upgraded to windows 10 the ip doesn't work for me to log into my router, ive tried Mozilla firefox and explorer neither works
yes ive restarted my router thinking that would solve the issue but it still doesn't work, ive tried 192.168.1.254 but that doesn't work, ive even tried the ip it shows when I type in ipconfig that doesn't work either
so I,m guessing its something to do with windows 10? anyone else on windows 10 and have this issue? or is it just me lol

@scoobydoo1 - Which address are you using from ipconfig /all ? Try the one that for the 'Default Gateway' see if that works.

What is returned when you run the command prompt and type "ipconfig" (without quotes)
I get the following
C:\Users\spendlesstime>ipconfig
Windows IP Configuration
Ethernet adapter Ethernet:Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :
IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.0.26
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.0.1
For me the gateway is as shown above (192.168.0.1) and works fine in Windows 10 to show the router interface.

Can you use the snipping tool in Windows 10, create a imahe showing what happedns when you try to connect to 192.168.1.1 and upload it. We maybe able to help more if we can see the result that you can see.
Try it with both
http://192.168.1.1 https://192.168.1.1
just in case your router use https on its admin page

Well I'm at a lose. I'm using W10 after upgrading from W7 and have no issues connecting to the router home page using the address returned as the default gateway in ipconfig.
Do you have another device like a phone/tablet just to check if the issue is connected to the PC or the router?

That is quite odd, but evidently your connection works. Try doing a
C:> tracert plusnet
and use the address you see in the first hop. If that fails post the results of the tracert and ipconfig to here please.
