cant connect to ip camera using browser or app (ip centcom)

i cant connect to sagemcom 2704n router to view my ip camera using either a browser or the ip centcom app

the app on the phone i am using as an ip camera (win ipcam) gives me a lan address of 192.168.1.19:1080

when i put this 192.168.1.19:1080 into my browser it asks me for username and password

username (i presume) is admin   and password is the one on back of router or the little card that comes in box

i put this in and get a message telling me they are not correct ?Huh

should i be putting this into url such as admin:password@192.168.1.19:1080  ?Huh

Re: cant connect to ip camera using browser or app (ip centcom)

I think it's the camera that is asking you for a password not the router. The router IP should be 192.168.1.254 not 192.168.1.18 also the router web UI uses the default http port (80) not port 1080.
I suggest you look at the docs that came with the camera to find the default username and password.

Re: cant connect to ip camera using browser or app (ip centcom)

My 'camera' is a windows phone lumia 640 using an app WIN IPcam to use it as a ip camera, it gives me the 192.168.1.18:1080

as the lan ip address to input, i will try connecting via 192.168.1.254:80 or something like that, thanks

You shouldn't need to connect to the router, you are accessing the camera directly over the network via your browser. If your camera is a smartphone using an App, then the username and password will be stored on the app. Its best to check the app settings for this on your smartphone/camera.
