alternative to openreach modem

My BT Openreach modem is 7 years old and I’m sure it will fail at some point.  As replacements aren't supplied anymore and I don't want a PlusNet hub, as I need to be able to turn wifi off, any suggestions on an alternative hub and/or modem?  Currently using an Asus router and Deco M5 mesh system with my openreach modem

Thanks

Re: alternative to openreach modem

Hi @Ausiemate

I believe you can turn the WiFi off on a Plusnet Hub One.

However, the PN Hub One cannot be configured to modem only mode.

So it will retain its routing mode.

A cheap'ish option is the TP Link TD-W9970 which can be set to modem only mode.
