Wireless Ethernet drops out wifi

I have recently signed up to Plusnet and have had a very unstable connection with highly variable speeds. I have been given a new Router (both old and new are Hub One) which seems to have resolved the unstable connection issues though the speed is still highly variable. On both the old and new router I had connected an ethernet cable connected to a 600mbps tp link wireless ethernet which caused no problems. When I added a 2 port TP Link wireless ethernet adaptor and powered it up the router kept the blue light showing but became undiscoverable wirelessly. This happened on both routers a number of times, does anyone know how to overcome this, a wired connection would be difficult. Not sure that the speed and stability issues are relevant but thought I should mention them.

Re: Wireless Ethernet drops out wifi

Hi there,

Is the TP Link adapter using the same SSID as the router? That could possibly be the problem?

Though I'm sure other members of the community may be able to advise further.
