Will fibre router work with ADSL?

Hi. I have upgraded to fibre from ADSL with Plusnet. My fibre router has arrived but my connection date is next week. Can I plug in my fibre router now? Will it work with the current ADSL? Will it mess up the fibre upgrade?

Hi there,

Yep that should work with ADSL. If you set up your new router before your fibre goes live then I’d expect just a short break in service on the day of the upgrade whilst the work is being completed then you should be on fibre.
