Been having this very annoying problem for the last week or so.
The wired internet is fine but the wifi ( which I use on my laptop and phone) keeps dropping out.
On my laptop, when I go to connect again I get the error "unable to connect to this network". Going through the Windows 10 trouble-shooter doesn't work, the "fix" is to make the laptop forget the wifi passowrd, then reconnect and type this in again and it usually connects. But the fault isn't fixed - at some point it drops out and I have to go through that again.
The issue also effects my phone - I'll notice it's switched to using data and I'll have to continually click connect until it eventually finds an IP address and connects properly.
The modem doesn't show any issues (dropping out, errors etc). There's no pattern to the drop outs either and it's usually a probably once a day.
At first I was worried it was an issue on the laptop ( Nitro 5) but it isn't that old and considering it effects my phone too, I think it's more likely a wifi issue.
Any idea what's going on?

You could try splitting the 2.4 and 5GHz wifi bands, it might help
Navigate in a web browser to 192.168.1.254.
Click Advanced Settings
Enter your Hub admin password when prompted (unless you've changed it, you'll find the default password on the settings card)
Continue to Advanced Settings.
Click on Wireless.
Click 5GHz tab.
Change 'Sync with 2.4Ghz' to No.
Change the name of the 'Wireless SSID' - I added a '_5' on the end.
Save the changes.
You can then select which one you want per device.
If it helped click the thumb
If it fixed it click 'This fixed my problem'
