I've had plusnet for a few years now, and I'm still on the technicolor router that it came with. I've been having a few problems with the wireless over the last few weeks though, in that only a couple of devices can connect to the internet at a time.
The connection to the router seems OK, but while one device that's connected can access the internet (whether it be browsing all the way up to streaming video), another device can't see the internet at all.
It's not device related either, as it's affected a laptop, an android phone, an iPhone and an iPad in the same way, and intermittently. Sometimes the internet is there, sometimes there's just no access.
I'm tempted to just reset the router - do I need to have any logon or configuration details noted down before I do? I can't see it being anything other than the router at fault.
Or is it just old, and I need to look at getting a new one?
