Using BT Smart Hub X on Plusnet

Ive been following previous threads about how to connect my Hub to Plusnet and followed the various nstructions but everytime I enter my Plus username etc it just defaults back to the BT one. Is the Smart Hub X locked to BT?

No save button comes up and if you just click Broadband it goes back to BT.

Any suggestions please

Re: Using BT Smart Hub X on Plusnet

Are you disconnecting the PPP link before you try changing the password? I have a few Smarthub 6X's knocking about and they can be configured successfully to work on a Plusnet line.

Re: Using BT Smart Hub X on Plusnet

Just in case PPP link is not understood this is the DSL cable between the filter and hub. Unless this is disconnected when you set up the Plusnet details then this will happen. So set up the Plusnet details and plug the DSL cable in whilst the router is displaying ‘connecting’.
