Upgraded to 300mb Full Fibre - Xbox Series X Wired connection only getting 30mb speed

Hi All,
Recently moved to Plus net from Sky fibre, where I had 76mb connection that was able stable and consistent download of around 50/60mb on my wired xbox.
Since moving to Plus net and the hub 2 router with my 300mb, I cannot get download or connection speeds past 30mb.....
Ive done all the usual tricks of port forwarding and wiring the connection, but nothing seems to work.
Run a speed test on my laptop or other devices and its saying im getting 290mb download and around 30mb upload.
Any ideas?

Hi @Breary90 it sounds like an issue with poor WiFi signal.
If you like I can log into the router from here and change some settings which should fix that.
I just need to ask for your approval first because it will disable the WiFi signal for about 2 minutes.

@adamwalker The title of this thread mentions "Xbox Series X Wired connection only getting 30mb speed" so from that I would assume it is not a Wi-Fi problem

Just a thought. is the Xbox getting 30 Mb/s (bits) or 30MB/s (bytes).
I don't have one so I don't know what the speed test indicates.
Also, is the wired REALLY wired or via powerline adaptors?

There are lots of reports of slow XBoxs on otherwise good FTTP connections. Your connection seems to be fine as experienced by your other devices. You might want to do a Google search and look at suggested remedies for Xbox slow speeds, for example Microsoft Xbox games download is VERY VERY SLOW - Microsoft Community
You do not mention which Xbox - I seem to recall a thread around here from a while ago which located the issue in the Xbox NIC settings (or version).
In another browser tab, login into the Plusnet user portal BEFORE clicking the fault & ticket links
