Unable to reach Vodafone address for use of their Sure Signal booster

I have a Vodafone Sure Signal V3 device that connects to wifi and puts out a 3G phone signal in areas of poor mobile reception. I had one working for a couple of years but in November it stopped connecting to Vodafone (via my Hub One). I now have a replacement Sure Signal device but it won't connect either.
Vodafone's troubleshooting guides for SureSignal V3 ask users to run the route tracing command "tracert 212.183.133.177".
For me, this consistently times out after reaching 166-49-211-254.eu.bt.net [166.49.211.254]
Has there been some change in BT's routing that is blocking this?

Hi CliffA,
I do not have a VF sure signal but I can confirm your ping and tracert results from my PN connection.
However, it could be that VF have configured their server not to respond to pings.
I see there is a sure signal network setup guide over at:

Hi @CliffA, I've tried performing a tracert to the same IP using a third party tracert tool (https://ping.eu/traceroute/) and this seems to drop off at a similar hop so this doesn't appear to be an issue specific to our network.
While this unfortunately doesn't help with the problem you're experiencing, hopefully there has been some useful information for you on the link Richard has provided.
