Unable to port forward with Hub One

Hi there,

I'm trying to set up an IP camera with the Hub One. The set up was previously running perfectly before we upgraded to fiber, but I can't get it working with the new router.

I've gone into the advanced settings and set port 80 for the camera, but the port fails to open every time. I've tried turning off my PC firewall and the one in the router, and the Plusnet cloud one is off too.

I tried calling Plusnet support, but they told me they don't support port forwarding!

I'm tearing my hair out here, and it's infuriating as it was working perfectly before!

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Re: Unable to port forward with Hub One

Port 80 is reserved for the router only. Try setting a different incoming port number which translates to the IP camera's port 80 (if this can't be changed on the camera).
That's RPM to you!!

I've tried several different ports and none of them are working.

Re: Unable to port forward with Hub One

Try putting your camera ip address in the DMZ and remove all port forwarding rules.  See if this works.
