Technicolor 582 with D-link cameras

hi,

I have the Technicolor 582n router, which has always been ok, although wifi coverage isnt as good as the one it replaced (Draytek), but it worked.

Now I have bought some D-link wifi cameras, and they will not connect to the router.

D-link support now tell me that there is an issue between their cameras and the Technicolor routers.

"There is an incompatibility between D-Link and Technicolor devices. If your router is Technicolor, the issue could be related to that. "

Has anyone heard about this, and if it's true, do Plusnet offer any alternative Router that I can use, or another solution ?

If I remember correctly the 582 is not VDSL compatible so you're on ADSL.

You can use any modem / router you want. PlusNet supply the required details to connect on their Support pages.

For example, if you still have the Draytek unit you could try that.

Thanks, but I'm not sure I have the ps for the Draytek, so I wondered if Plusnet might have another I can use (Hub one or something) instead ?

If not I guess I am stuck with sourcing the ps and trying the Draytek.
