Hi
I am seeing a multiple network disconnect on my TV, this happens everyday between 8pm and 10 pm. The TV is on my bedroom which is a fair way from the router.
The issue is seen using both WIFI and Ethernet over powerline adaptors.
I have tried different TV's but it still happens.
To recover I have to reconnect to the network or reboot the TV.
I have attached the logs rom my router.
I hope someone can help as it is getting very frustrating.
Regards
Glynn

@glynnmorgan76 Hi there,
Sorry to hear about the drops on your TV.
I quickly tested your line and performed the usual health checks on your router to see if i could find any issues, everything seems to be fine in terms of your provisioned line and the router health checks came back all green.
To be perfectly honest and transparent here, TV's are genuinely the worst for wi-fi connectivity and actually maintaining the connection. An example i recently had was last Sunday i visited my grandparents for a cheeky Sunday roast. My grandad brought up that his TV has been playing up and dropping connection to the wi-fi (even though his TV is in the same room as the router). In this case i actually recommended him some powerline adapters because i knew my Nan would go nuts if there was a trailing ethernet cable within her peripheral vision. Powerline adapters tend to be amazing but are very situational. They work by converting data signals into a high-frequency signal that can travel over the power lines and then it will reconvert the signal back into a usable data signal at the receiving end. Sometimes the internals of your house can cause issues with these adapters as well and it also depends on in you have these powerlines plugged into the mains sockets or extension sockets as this can cause problems sometimes to.
My general recommendation is if you can directly connect your TV's to the router by ethernet with nothing in-between, that sorts it. There are other alternatives that tend to be more reliable too, eg: Mesh networks, access points etc... But they are a little more pricey and more advanced in terms of setting it up.
TV's, Firesticks, Roku Sticks, Kodi Sticks Etc... are all hit an miss with wi-fi connectivity. I had a firestick ultra for a couple of years and ended up getting shot of it and resorting to streaming everything through my Xbox series S instead as the wi-fi has been way more reliable with it.
Hope some of this info helps and sorry for the ramble.
All the best

Can you be more specific about 'the TV'. Sky, multiroom, a stick or a simple 'freeview with internet' one ?
What else happens at 8pm in the house ? Anything that might generate interference ?
I ended up examining a Sky setup, and found that the slave boxes (the TV's are dumb displays) run their own wifi network back to the main box so you have that and the house wifi competing. Throw in 3 Sky boosters, 3 BT/EE boosters and a pair of powerline adaptors (also providing wifi) and it was hard to work out what was trying to connect to what !
In addition Sky can go off and pre-emptively download programmes it thinks you might want, to avoid buffering when you do. That might just be loading the system to the point of dropping the vital link.

Hi
I am using a Roku Freeview Smart TV's I have tried both in the bedroom. I am not aware of anything using the router when I am using the Bedroom TV, it is usually just me watching TV at that time. No other traffic. Plus I only use this TV when I and going to bed so it maybe happening during the day but unnoticed.
I have now set the TV's IP to static to see if his helps. I maybe something to do with the DCHP server running on the router.
Thank you for your help
