TP-link Archer vr900 router won't connect to Plusnet Fibre

Does anyone have a TP-link Archer vr900 router which connects to Plusnet fibre.
Just switched to Plusnet Fibre from TalkTalk standard broadband.
The supplied Plusnet router works fine but I can't get the TP-Link router to connect.
I have factory rest the router and installed latest firmware.
I get a message when using Quick Setup which says Username or password is incorrect. I'm using the correct username (username@plusdsl.net) and password!
I select Plusnet_VDSL from the ISP dropdown.
I tried running Diagnostics and get:
Test xDSL Synchronization - Pass
Test WAN Connection - Fail
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
I phoned Plusnet Tech Support but person I spoke to was unable to support any router except the supplied one.

Scroll down to the post by Bobpullen who is the forum admin , he has a screenshot of the settings he has for his VR900, try doing a manual setup rather than the easy auto method see if that works, it seems to be hit n miss with this router as if it works with Plusnet or not.

Moved to My Router as it's not an issue with the Broadband.
