Suddenly unable to remote view CCTV through static IP address on P2P.

Hi,
Looking for ideas.
Had my swann DVR 4550 for last year working through a static IP address with Plusnet no problems viewing on my android tablet, phone or Windows PC.
Suddenly it stopped working. I can still view on the phone when cameras set to IP/domain on wifi only. Not 4g. If I put it back to P2P setting on cameras, I cannot view it on wifi or 4g.
Leads me to think Plusnet have changed something or upgraded router hub or introduced security measures closing the ports. I have tried opening port 9000 on the hub, but it still refuses to connect remotely as it did before.

Re: Suddenly unable to remote view CCTV through static IP address on P2P.

I'm having the same problem with my Swann CCTV as of a few weeks ago. However, I don't use Plusnet's router, so I know nothing has changed there. I'm using the SwannView Link Android app to connect, and as I haven't opened any ports in my router I suspect there is some negotiation done via Swann's server to make it all work - I will investigate when I have time...

Replacement of router sorted it.
Plusnet sent me a new one, and working fine now viewing p2p
