Squeeling home hub router. It's brand new

I was wondering. Just started using my homehub a few days ago. Today it has started making a really high pitched squeeling noise everytime it's being used/browsing. When it downloads things it gets really bad.
Is this normal? It sounds like an old zxspectrum loading games!
Can't be right.

It's a known issue. Plenty fo similar posts, such as this recent one:

In which case there must be a faulty component inside. It's not supposed to make noise.

Regrettably this is why I stopped using the Hub One. Seemed to be the wireless causing the noise to me, 5Ghz the worst.

The TP-Link VR600 I picked up from Amazon doesn't make any noises and has a lot more features.
