Software to monitor router (2704n) line statistics

Is anyone aware of software that will allow continuous monitoring of Plusnet 2704n? I can't get this router to work with routerstats or DSLstats (can't login). Is there anything similar out there that will do the job?

What are you trying to measure using the line stats? If you're on a fibre connection the router is acting purely as a gateway so it doesn't know about SNR, sync speed,error rates,  attenuation etc...

If you want that kind of info then buy a combined VDSL modem router or an unlocked Huawei Openreach modem.

I just want to monitor basic parameters (Sync Speed and SNR Margin) on my ADSL connection to confirm that a reported fault has actually been fixed.

I can see all these details when I manually login to the Plusnet (Sagemcom) 2704n (http://192.168.1.254/expert_user.html > Device Info > Statistics > xDSL) but cannot seem to access them to continually monitor the router status.

I used to use the superb Routerstats program (http://vwlowen.co.uk/internet/files.htm) with my old Thomson TG585v8 but as part of the 'fix' I had to upgrade to the 2704n and it doesn't seem compatible with this (or any other software) I can find - possibly due to the way the login works.

I was really wondering if anyone knows of any off-the-shelf software that would enable this simple monitoring requirement.
