Smarthub 6 or Smarthub.2?

With more of the latest Smarthub 2s appearing on auction sites maybe it's time to consider the pros and cons of the two.

There are a few major differences that I am currently aware of that differentiate the two, These are:

On the Smarthub 6 you can split the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. I understand that some smart home devices need all devices to be connected to the same wireless band, so this is a very useful feature.  I have also come across other devices such as phones that will not work with synchronised bands.

The Smarthub 2 can be paired with remote unit(s) to make up a mesh system. This saves one mesh unit when compared with connecting a Smarthub 6 to a mesh system.

You cannot split the wireless bands on the Smarthub 2. This can be a major problem when setting up smart home networks.
