I have a Plusnet Hub One router and am having trouble getting Kodi, on an Android TV,to pick up files stored on my Windows 10 PC.
One suggestion is to make sure NetBios is switched on in the router. TBH I have no idea what this means but, have looked through the settings on router and could not spot where this option is.
Can anyone clarify if there is such an option and, if so, where it is, please?

Hi @MysteryMan1
NetBIOS is an older protocol and not really used much anymore. Would be more common to find it in a business network than a home network.
As far as I can tell, the PN routers do not have an option to enable it.
Your issue may be down to how the folder has been shared out from the windows PC - and that the android TV cannot connect correctly to it.

Thanks for reply.
I have now sorted out my issue, which turned out to be the name of folder - it didn't like name with either spaces or special characters. So, just stuck to plain, old "Movies" and it worked a treat!
