Sagemcom 2704N port 7547 issue

Hi all,

I use my plusnet router to accept card payments from a card terminal. I need to pass PCI compliance but every time I do the security scan it informs me that port 7547 is open and vulnerable. I understand from reading elsewhere that this is used for remote access to the router for firmware updates etc. however I really need it to be closed. Any ideas on what I can do?

Hi @mattestall, this is something you could possibly do via the 'port forwarding' settings in your router, though not something we support I'm afraid.

I'm sure some of the other forum users would be able to assist with this however.
