Router problem.

I've just had a replacement router and It's connection to my windows 7 computer has a problem.  I have to type in the wi-fi pass word each time I switch on and also the WPS led is continually flashing.

Re: Router problem.

Which model Plusnet router are you using?  Hub Zero or Hub One

Do you have same issue with other wireless devices?

Hi @erikroberts,

I am sorry to hear about this and the issues that you are having.

Can you please perform a factory reset on your router please as this may help with your issue. To perform this please follow the instructions here from this link https://www.plus.net/help/broadband/router-user-guides/

If this fails with the connection of your router to your laptop then I would consider updating your software to a newer version of operating system.

That has to be the most unhelpful suggestion I have read recently

It is totally out of order when a new PC with Windows 7 preinstalled can be still be bought today.

Re: Router problem.

Hello everyone. I decided to switch the router off and leave it off over night. I then switched it on again the next day and Hey, it worked fine. No more flashing WPS and no longer having to type in password.
