Internet light is red, i reset it and its connected then still doesnt work. Shortly after the light goes red again. Click connect and nothing happens. This is the second time since i moved in a month ago.

You may have a fault on the line, or the hub could be faulty.
If your property doesn't have a modern filtered socket which has separate two sockets, one for phone, other for broadband, have you tried the test socket?
You should phone Plusnet and report the problem imho.
