Router Errors (Possible firmware update)

Hi,

First time poster after.

I have found my home network connection to become very unstable after a failed broadband home move in December with Plusnet. For a period of approximately 3 months I had no connection to the internet. Prior to a home move, we did find that some mobile phones in the house were losing network access despite appearing to maintain their network connection.

What I have come to notice, is that the network suffers random periods where devices and services become totally unreachable via wifi (It is not even possible to access the router (192.168.1.254). In most occasions a power cycle of the router was necessary to restore network connectivity.

In an attempt to overcome the issues encountered I tried changing the channel my router broadcasts on. unfortunately this did not resolve the issue.

After reading the forum posting, I saw a suggestion to disable both the 2.4ghz & 5ghz frequencies one at a time to check stability and for drop outs. By doing this I discovered that of the two frequencies, the 5ghz was the most stable.

I have tried to read error logs and cannot understand the errors that are shown. There is a regular entry which reads as below.

03:26:03, 27 May.(28081.340000) CWMP: session closed due to error: Could not resolve host
03:26:03, 27 May.(28081.300000) CWMP: Server URL: https://ceased.tr69.p; Connecting as user: ACS username
03:26:03, 27 May.(28081.290000) CWMP: Session start now. Event code(s): '0 BOOTSTRAP,4 VALUE CHANGE'

Is it possible that my routher is attempting to update, but the request is rejected by plusnet?

Grateful for any help that can be offered.

Thanks

Re: Router Errors (Possible firmware update)

Just incase I'm barking up the wrong tree here. Can anyone advise what the most current version of firmware is for the plusnet one hubs?

As a side question, are plusnet one hubs tied to an individuals username somewhere on plusnets servers?
