Replacing hub 2 with eero 6

Hi
I'm trying to set up 2 eero 6 routers to replace my hub 2
When I plug Eero direct to ont the Eero app takes me through settings until I have to change to PPPoE
It says I must be connected to Internet to save settings
I then plugged my Eero into my existing Hub 2 which allowed me to save the PPPoE setting and I can then connect to the Eero
My problem is if I then disconnect my hub 2 and connect my Eero back into the Eero I lose my wifi signal
I would prefer not to have to use the hub 2

Re: Replacing hub 2 with eero 6

You need to put the Hub2 into bridge mode and then keep the Eero plugged into the Hub2.
The Eero does not have a modem built into it so will need to use the one in the Hub2.
If you had full fibre you could use the Eero without the Hub2.

Re: Replacing hub 2 with eero 6

Well you should be able to plug the Eero directly into the ONT.

"FTTP you can also use PPPoE (only for eero 6, eero Pro 6, eero Pro 6E and eero 6+ models) and connect the eero directly to the BT ONT. In order to do that you need to know your PPPoE username and password"
