Quick reconnect batch script ?

Can anyone help with a scripted method to disconnect and reconnect my hub1 router ?

Is it possible to do it via external batch file ?

These are my options, so far nothing I've tried works.

thx

Re: Quick reconnect batch script ?

Is there no way to get a new IP ? sometimes even switching the router on and off doesn't give me one.

Why do you want a new IP? You can probably do something with a Selenium script or similar on the local network but I'm not sure why you'd want to.

Re: Quick reconnect batch script ?

Because downloads from certain file sites are restricted, meaning a 3 hour wait between downloads on one IP.

ipconfig/release ipconfig/renew has no effect so I'm looking for a similar method for the router.

Turning the router on and off sometimes works but it would be better to have a scripted method.

Re: Quick reconnect batch script ?

Ok, from what I've managed to find out my IP is now "sticky". If I wanted a static IP I would have ordered one.
