Problem writing to portable drive on USB connection

Hi,

I have connected a 500GB portable USB hard drive to my Hub One router. I can see it from windows file explorer and can read from it. However, I cannot write to it?

Can anyone help?

Hi ihmitchell,

Have you checked the power draw on the storage device as the maximum power draw on the port is 500mA, so the HDD/Storage device can't exceed this.
