Problem setting up FTP on Plusnet Hub One Router

Hello,

I have FileZilla FTP Server running on my PC and need to set up the FTP service on the router to allow incoming traffic to access the server.

I have gone into ADVANCED SETTINGS > FIREWALL and added the FTP Application from the list and pointed it to the PC selected from the list. 

However, attempting to connect to the server from outside the house via the net from a neighbours PC, it does not reach the server.

Checking inside the LAN in the house I can access the FTP server so I know that is working.

The router home network correctly displays the PC and it's IP so it appears the router is seeing the correct PC.

Are there any other settings I can use to check the routing from WAN to LAN to get the FTP passed through?

Hi @ChasL - Welcome to the forum. Make sure you firewall is turned off here.

Thanks Mook, yes it is off.

After 28 minutes on hold I'm told Plusnet staff are unable to help with Port Forwarding.

So I'll just have to change the router for one I know well and use that.

So much for "We'll do you proud"!
