Port forwarding for wordpress

Hi,

I have a simple web server with a .co.uk domain name which I want to be able to access temporarily from my own network.  I have a static IP from Plusnet but can't seem to find the appropriate port forwarding settings on the router or with my domain provider.  I have set up what I think is right in that the domain provider IP points to my home static IP and I've set port forwarding up on my router to go to the IP address of the machine in question on my home network (192.168 address).  However nothing is working and I'm not sure where to go next!  Any help gratefully received!

@ian7845  Welcome to the forum.

If it’s on your home network don’t you just enter your internal IP address into your browser, that is, 192.168.1.xxx?

Sorry, mistake in my original post!  I wanted to be able to connect to the .co.uk outside of my home network, is that possible?
