Hi @adamslack

Thanks for that. I have adjusted a couple of settings on your line for you. Please can you restart your router for me and let me know how it goes.

Unfortunately the problem is still happening, just ping tested again. Thank you for all the help by the way. I just don't understand.. I restarted the router before testing again.

Re: PlusNet Router firmware upgrade

Thanks, I've raised this with the relevant team, however given the time of year it's like to be early January when this is pushed out.

I hope this helps.

Re: PlusNet Router firmware upgrade

Hi.  Sorry to hijack the thread but can i request the same firmware update please.  My current version is 7.273.1_F2704N_Plusnet and we are experiencing some intermittent issues with WiFi connectivity from Windows 10 computers.

Re: PlusNet Router firmware upgrade

Hi @JasonH1,

I have sent a request to upgrade the firmware version however, I'm skeptical that this will improve the connectivity over wireless to your Windows 10 PC's.

Could you try the steps below to change your wireless channel in an attempt to avoid interference.

1) To connect to your Plusnet Hub Zero, you will need to open a browser and go to http://192.168.1.254

2) Once you are connected, you will see the option that says 'Wi-Fi Network' with the name of your network followed by the 'Settings' button.

3) Please select 'Settings' and you will be asked to log in with the 'Router Password'. This password is found on the bottom of the router and is case sensitive. This password can also be found on the plastic card that came with the router.

4) The Channel is the key option that we need to look for, If this is on Auto then we will want to change this to one of the 13 channels listed on the drop down menu. This stage is all down to trial and error to find the best channel for you.

Let us know how you get on.

Thank you.
