Just to let you know I’ve done a few speed tests this afternoon and speed seems to be back up around the mid 40s again.

What would of been causing it to be so low over the last few days?

Hi Andy, it's difficult to advise definitively what the drop was caused by unless a line test shows a fault. 

It's good to see your speeds are starting to climb back up again though.

The drop outs do seam to be during the night although one was around mid morning so I’m guessing they were caused by service work during the night.

I’ll continue monitoring it for now.

Hello.

I’ve just got off the phone from yourselves. WE have agreed to monitor it till this coming Monday.

12 drops in 7 days is still a lot but it’s been better than it has been and my speed is far better than before.

Drops appear to be during the night/early morning which is very strange and as you just said you can’t see a fault but obviously still is one.

Hello.

Thanks for your help today.

This morning I was getting speed in the high 40s 48-49Mbps.

This afternoon for the last couple of hours I’m getting 28-29Mbps.

Do you know why I’ve dropped 20meg?

Hi Andy, sorry for the delay and no problem thanks for your time on the phone yesterday. Our testing is still showing your router's getting a speed of 55.5mbps with no drops over the last 3 days.

Were you testing on a wired or wireless connection, and was there anything else using the internet at the time?

Hello.

I was on a wired connection.

Speaking to one of my neighbours last night he’s been having big problems to and had BT out yesterday.

My speed this morning was bang on 45Mbps.
