Orbi router - unable to access web interface of DrayTek Vigor 130 modem

I'm using an Orbi router (RBR50) connected to a DrayTek Vigor 130 modem. Is it possible to access the modem UI without having to connect directly to it? i.e. via the router.

The Vigor 130 modem has internal ip address 192.168.1.1 and the Orbi is using 192.168.1.2

It would be nice to be able to access the modem stats to easily see VDSL sync speed etc

Many thanks

Rich

Re: Orbi router - unable to access web interface of DrayTek Vigor 130 modem

It's possible with some routers but not sure if the Orbi has the facilities you need.

This https://community.ubnt.com/t5/EdgeRouter/Maintaining-access-to-the-DrayTek-Vigor-130-web-interface-w... might help understand the concepts.

First you would need to give the 130 an IP address in a different subnet to the Orbi LAN subnet, then you need to be able to allocate an additional IP address to the Orbi wan interface, then you need to be able to define a static route on the Orbi.
