Openreach Router Flashing DSL Light

Hi,

Up until recently I have been using using the Plusnet One router, works fine but the signal in our home isnt great.

So instead I have bought an Asus Router (RT-AC51U) and an Openreach Modem (huawei).

My problem is that the Openreach Modem DSL light is continuously flashing, even thou the internet works fine via the old Plusnet One Router.

Is there anyway to login into the Openreach router and enter my plusnet account details? (username@plusdsl.net..etc)?

I have gone through the Asus setup wizard, selected pppoe and entered my plusnet account details (username@plusdsl.net..etc) on there but it gives me the error "account or password are invalid" and the Openreach DSL light is still flashing.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

Re: Openreach Router Flashing DSL Light

The Openreach modem is just a modem so you don't have to enter any details for it to connect up.

If you're using the exact same setup as what works for the Hub One then it may be that the Openreach modem is faulty.
